HARARE, Zimbabwe – For 45 ambitious young Zimbabweans, a dream once limited by circumstance is now within reach. Seated in the Andy Millar Hall, their faces reflected a mix of pride, hope, and determination. They are the first-ever recipients of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) Scholarship Programme—a groundbreaking initiative set to change not only their lives but the very future of farming in the country.

HARARE – For any farmer, a contract is more than a piece of paper—it's a promise. It's the promise of inputs arriving on time to catch the rains, and the promise of fair payment for a season's hard work. Now, the Agricultural Marketing Authority (AMA) is making it clear that those promises must be kept.

Mashonaland Central has surpassed its wheat production targets for the current season, with farmers now expediting harvesting efforts ahead of the anticipated summer rains. The province has not only exceeded its planting goals but is also achieving impressive yields, a success attributed to a combination of effective resource management and the adoption of modern agricultural practices.
